I was a member of Gary's service for about 4 months and unfortunately he didn't live up to the hype. I was prepared to give him a fair crack after the first month as the transition from being a free to a premium tipster can be tricky, however it's clear he hasn't settled in at all. Results were, are still are, bad (as of today his all time ROI on racingproofing is 1.28%, very poor for a paid service) emails were sent at completely random times or not at all as mentioned below, and he would often tip horses after the price had already crashed (once he tipped a horse at 8/1 when 20's had long gone) which is sometimes unavoidable but when it happens a lot you have to question his skill at understanding the markets.

Whilst I don't doubt that he was a very good tipster for some time, something's clearly gone quite wrong. Also, if you look at his twitter feed he rarely talks about racing (unless it's Cheltenham) he's usually more concerned with how the New England patriots are doing!

The fact that he struggled so much to turn a profit at the festival he loves (or used to) might just be bad luck, but that and everything else I suspect means that whatever edge he had has mostly gone.

I've read the last few reviews on this service and agree with them all. After promising so much at the start it has been truly awful for several months. I couldn't recommend this service to anyone and certainly won't renew for next season. Of late has been rolling the dice with bigger priced horses or multi bets. They have just added to his losses. Random message times, sometimes not even bothering to message at all compound the bad feeling about where this is going.
As they say on Dragons Den, therefore I'm out. I'd recommend everyone else stays out as well.

I've never left a negative review on here and i like to give tipsters every chance of doing well but I'm afraid i can't back that up with this service. Joined as a member as soon as the service opened so probably almost 12 months ago, and i doubt i've made more than 20 points profit in that time if fee's for the tips are taken into account. He clearly has good knowledge of national hunt racing and has good results in the past but results just haven't been up to it at any point this season. I can forgive bad results and don't believe in jumping between services every month and therefore stayed with the service, but its the other parts that are really shoddy. It feels like theres no care or effort anymore going into the tips and the service has been continued just to make money. There is no rough time for tips, they can come at 4pm , 11pm or 10am the following morning, with no email to update on this. The prices are already hard to get it (often taken from only one bookmaker) and impossible if you don't constantly refresh your emails. There was also an email claiming there would be write ups at the start of the service but there hasn't been one for months, not even at the big festivals which is really disappointing. I always think if a tipster should at least try to explain their thoughts, especially if they aren't coming through with results. The overall communication is appalling, today is another example where there is some decent racing but no tips - fair enough you can't find something you like everyday, but at least send an email to paying customers as courtesy. I would say recently theres been 2 or 3 days a week with no tips but no email to say so, which is not something i have ever had with other paying services.

i became a member in september, having read great things about this service, but it has being a total let down.
The cheltenham festival and aintree tips were shocking, and no write up on tips left me with no confidence on backing them.
I think gary has lost all focus for this service and should consider what he needs to do to put things right.

3rd time was certainly no charm! I've given this service a fair shake 3 separate times. The last was after a promo for the end of the NH season for 15 quid. Absolute garbage! He landed 1 small price winner. Lost roughly 35 points and it wasn't even close losses with 2nd placed horses either. Only point in following this service would be to lay anything he tips! Avoid for sure.

Boasts unbelievable profits in previous years but not this year. Average price of tips probably 3/1 and even at those odds most lose. use to do write ups of tips when first started but even those were mostly copy and paste from other sites like oddschecker !

doens't seem to care one iota about his members either. clearly created a paid service for a quick buck and doens't put the work in to make it feel like a proper service, nor does he put work into the tips to make it a profitable one.

1/5 a fair rating.

Absolute waste of time this service. It has been average at best prior to Cheltenham and even worse during the Festival. This guys reviews are all posted on the same date around similar times.. anything suspicious? No write ups behind tips, often too many multiples and constantly backing favourites. Think the biggest price winner in the last few months has been 7/1.

Been following since the service started. Taking into account the cost of the subscription and how it's been difficult to get advised prices I'm probably up only 10-15 points in 5 months.

Email timings are sporadic and can arrive anytime between 4PM and 10PM. This can make it harder to get on advised price, especially when the advised price is only available with one bookie and often bookies who traditionally close winnings accounts quickly (like betfair).

Heard Gaz comes alive during the festival and I'll happily change my rating if the service picks up. However up to now, this service is not 5-star.

Very Mediocre service. No proof of previous 1600pts. Small profit made although it is hard to get on at the prices he quotes.

Very underwhelming despite the glowing reviews, 18 points down so far, no sign at all that this is a service worth following to be honest.

Not great so far, not a single reasoning for why the horses are tipped despite reviews saying they are well researched? Odds suggested are with bookies that won't lay a decent bet. Will keep for another month and see if things improve.

Always honest and never holds back anti post tips until they've been backed in just to see if anyone else likes them. Jumps are his speciality but on the very rare occasion he tips a flat horse, it'll do very well.

A great service from Gaz. Tips are always posted the night before with a very honest assessment. The tips are well researched with a decent value. If there are not successful then there is honest feedback.
A fantastic tipster who provides excellent return on investment

Gaz is one of the most likeable lads on twitter, the fact that his knowledge of National hunt racing is 2nd to none is a massive plus point. Never any bullshit excuses or odds on favs.

I am a terrible gambler but luckily for me I make more than enough money from Gary's great horse racing tips to cover all my terrible football bets.

His Cheltenham selections are fantastic and made the wife very happy as it paid for her new washing machine.

Seems like a genuinely nice bloke as well, always polite and talks sense whenever I've messaged him.

Keep up the good work Gary.

I don't follow the horses myself too much but have great faith in Gaz's tips due to glowing praise from a friend who follows them closely.

He's a top guy though as I have got to know him through other sporting competitions he runs.

In simple terms, Gary is THE BEST NATIONAL HUNT TIPSTER: PERIOD!! His ability to pick a winner at value odds (no odds on shots) is 2nd to none. His ante post picks for Cheltenham over the past 3 years have generated a very healthy profit for his followers. And there's no bull**** or affiliated links either. It's straight forward and straight to the point!! You'd be daft not to follow him!! You're missing out on regular winners.......

An honest and genuine guy who's knowledge of racing simply astounds me! No other tipster comes close to Gaz when there are jumps involved.

Uses years of experience to pick out some lovely antepost prices and always cleans up at big festivals. Never one to blow his own trumpet but we all love it when a Wallop comes up on his timeline.

I've learned a lot from him and have total respect for the amount of time and energy that goes into all of his tips. Would highly recommend him as a tipster to follow. 5 stars doesn't quite cover how good he is...

No bullshit tipster, won't throw the toys out the pram when things aren't going well and when things are going well he won't be the typical ego tipster claiming his the best etc, which is exactly what you need in a tipster to follow, reliable, honest, straight forward and boy is he consistent, won't be many hours/days before you catch the WALLOP on Twitter when his hit a winner at any odds. To me the best national hunt tipster and a must have to add to your portfolio.

Any jumps expert that thinks The Cheltenham Festival takes place at the weekend is worth following purely for comedy value. And with Gary Saxby you're guaranteed comedy gold. Listen to him on The Racing Podcast and he sounds like a genius. Mainly because the other two muppets can't tie their own shoelaces but that's not the point. He's an England supporting, Rangers fan who follows MK Dons. Confused but a professional in a world of amateurs.

Been following this man right from the start and made enough money off his tips to buy an extra 20,000 followers. Whether I back them or sell them to other punters, I do it with confidence. I know he puts the hours in so we don't have to and that's the way I like it.
Russell Blair is good on the flat, but anybody can charge and get a few winners on the easy stuff. Jumping is where the real skill is and Sax has real skill.

Seriously knowledgable tipster who I've known and followed through Twitter for some time now. He really knows his stuff when it comes to all aspects of racing but his passion for the jumps means the bookies better watch out when Cheltenham comes around!! Trust me, made me a fortune at the festival! He is dedicated in his research, reviewing of races and exploration of all types of sources of information, etc in order to find good value winners. This man loves the sport and spends the time on the cards so you don't have to! On top of all that, he's actually a top bloke who I've found more than happy to help you out, explain anything you're unsure of, answer any questions you might have and generally chat about the sport he loves. A top service from a top bloke! You won't be disappointed if you subscribe to his service, I'm sure

Not a lot I can say that won't already of been said, so i'm sure I'll just be reiterating what many have said. But...

Gary is quite simply the best, what he does not know about Jump racing simply is not worth knowing. He is not only extremely knowledgable about his trade, but also extremely approchable too, which is really important as a tipster in my opinion, being able to offer extensive reasoning and answering any question that comes his way.

Finally, a key strength of Gary is he is a hugely multi dimensional tipster, with years of consistent profit behind his views. He can pick out a high over priced winner for you, and also pick you out a rock solid multiple, whatever is your thing.

With huge success and consistency behind him, I would strongly urge anyone to give Gary a follow asap!

Where to start?

What Gaz doesn't know about the sport isn't worth knowing! One of the most genuine guys you could ever wish to speak to and he'll make you some money too

Red hot when there's jumping involved but has an eye for the flat aswell

One of my first port of calls when looking for a researched opinion on a race. He doesn't have to go around telling everyone he's one of the best, people soon make there own mind up that he is

A top bloke and a top tipster and a no brainer if your thinking of following him. You won't be disappointed
