Onto our next trial now and this week have Bookies Enemy supplying us with the tips. This service has been on the scene for a while now and has just recently teamed up with Betting Gods to provide his service.

The Bookies Enemy service focuses on providing value odds selections across flat(turf) and all weather racing. All of the tips will come with their own advised stake and full reasoning behind each selection.

This service has produced excellent long term results over the past few years and is coming to us on the back of an outstanding week so lets see if he can continue that.

Monday - Day 1

Tuesday - Day 2

12:10 Southwell, Cousin Khee - Lost
1pt win @ 12/1 with Bet365, BetVictor

The old man of the party at 10 and he may well be regressing now but he's returning to the all-weather on a very inviting looking mark fully 24lbs lower than when last seen on an artificial surface at Lingfield back in June 2016.He's had excuses for a couple of his most recent below par efforts on turf including at York where he got tired towards the end of 2 miles when looking to come with a threatening run and then last time he somehow got shuffled back during the race from a nice posi before staying on again towards the end when the race was all but over. He's got good form at this particular track winning once and finishing second in his other race and with a decent looking apprentice (won 4 from 26 this year including his last race) taking off a further 7lb I think he can go well back on the fibresand down in trip/grade.

15:40 Southwell, Belgravian - Won +2.75
1pt win @ 11/4 with most providers

Won well in a good time two starts back at Kempton and only went up 3lb and although finishing well down the field on his next outing he's several lengths better than the final result if not possibly an unlucky loser. He was slowly away that day making life tough for himself and then got hampered a number of times during the race including inside the final furlong when trying to raise yet another effort. His jockey eased him right down after this and was allowed to coast home so the 12 lengths in which he was beat far from tells a true story. He makes his fibresand debut tomorrow and he will need to get away better to avoid the kickback, but if he does then I think this track could suit his powerful style of running and under top amateur Simon Walker from stall 1 he should have plenty in his favour.

Wednesday - Day 3

18:10 Kempton, Intisaab - Lost
2pt win @ 7/1 with most providers
Hasn't won since his making his seasonal bow at Ripon back in April but he's unexposed on the all-weather and has been contesting some high quality turf races and running well in plenty, as well two hot all-weather races at both Newcastle and last time at Lingfield. The Newcastle race back in July was a group 3 where he finished a very creditable second making his all-weather debut. He ran OK but never stayed 7f at Chelmsford on his second all-weather start and then last time at Linfield he had to be held up from his wide draw in a race where the leaders weren't coming back to the field despite setting a brisk pace. But he was staying on better than any other horse and had he been handed a better draw I think he'd have gone close. He has a much better draw in stall 1 tomorrow dropping back into handicap company and being a horse that can race either prominently or be held up, his jockey has plenty of options and I fancy him to run a big race so long as he takes to this slightly slower surface.

14:20 Wolverhampton, Primero - Lost
1pt win @ 12/1 with PaddyPower, BetVictor
I've got a handful of horses in this race that I'm interested in from previous runs but after studying the race I'm now left with a short list of about eight. So when this happens I like to take a chance on a horse that could potentially be better than everything else, so on that theory the one that stands out a mile is the new O'Meara recruit Primero. We don't know much about him and the full strength of his form only he's run well in all of his French all-weather race. But in the last one of those races he finished third (was 5/2f) behind the formerly trained Richard Fahey trained Nimr who, had he been lining up for tomorrow's race would surely favourite as he went on to win his next race plus he was already rated 109 when he left the UK.David O'Meara has an excellent record with new recruits from other yards having their first run and he also has a good record with horses returning from a break which is the case with this horse. He's drawn fairly wide but he breaks well so should have no problem obtaining a handy posi and if he's ready to roll, which I fully expect him to be, then he could spring a minor shock and at a bigger price than I had him down I think he looks worth a punt at around 12/1.

Thursday - Day 4

19:45 Newcastle, Right Touch - Lost
2pt win @ 9/1 with Bet365, Ladbrokes, Coral, BoyleSports, BetVictor

Well handicapped and ended the flat season in great form at Doncaster finishing 4th behind our winner Speculative Bid who came from the back of the field in a race run at a decent tempo.Right Touch was always on the front end and did well to keep on going after helping set a brisk pace and if his jockey employs those kind of tactics again tomorrow dropping back to 6f it should serve him well. He's got form at this track over 7f in better races and tomorrow's drop in grade/trip off a 9lb lower mark must see him go well.

Friday - Day 5

12:40 Southwell, Captain Revelation - Lost
1pt win @ 9/1 with Bet365, 8/1 with Skybet, Betfred, ToteSport, BetVictor

Far from a confident bet given the horse's most recent form for both his old trainer and his new, but he's so well handicapped returning to his favourite track he must be worth a bet.He was formerly trained by Tom Dascombe and had his first run for Michael Mullineaux last month where he was disappointing, but that race looks easy to forgive as 1m 2f on easy turf is everything but ideal. His form figures at this track read 2221113563 and returns off a mark 7lb lower than when last seen here where he finished 3rd in a much better quality race than tomorrow's and what's also noteworthy is the fact he was in very bad form in the run up to his win here around this time last year before going in at a well backed 9/2 in a good quality 0-80 handicap. He's back over the same 7f trip tomorrow in a race that's likely to be run at a good pace which will suit and although not quite the price I was hoping for at around 8/1 he's still backable at that price as he still has the best track form in the race.

14:45 Southwell, Viva Verglas - Lost
1pt win @ 11/2 with Ladbrokes, BetVictor

Looked to be coming back to form last at Kempton and loves it round Southwell where his form figures read 622321147 with both his wins coming in this grade.Luke Morris who rode him to both those victories gets the leg up again and he looks nailed on for a big run.

Saturday - Day 6

19:15 Wolverhampton, Broughton's Fancy - Placed + 2.2
1pt e/w @ 12/1 with Bet365, 11/1 with Sunbets
Has been performing well at this level in fairly competitive races for the grade including here 3 starts back at Wolverhampton in a race run in a good time for the grade. She's hardly a prolific winner but she's either won or been placed in 20 of her 42 starts and although she's drawn wide tomorrow she generally breaks well and with there looking to be little pace in this race her jockey, who's claiming a handy 5lb, shouldn't have any problem in getting her to a prominent posi and if she can then she'll be a solid e/w bet in this poor 0-55 handicap.

21:15 Wolverhampton, Rowlestonerendezvu - Lost
1pt e/w @ 25/1 with most providers
Disappointed last time but she wasn't given a hard time at the back of the field off a slow pace. She's run just twice on the sand and has performed creditably both times. She caught my eye last time at Kempton in a 0-65 handicap where, after hanging badly to the left and losing many length in the home straight she picked up again really well towards the end. She's obviously got her quirks but dropping down to this poor 0-55 handicap she looks overpriced at 25/1
