Analysis – First three runs were good efforts late last year and ended those with a novice win at Kempton over this mile trip. First couple of outings this season in handicaps were average but they were in class 2/3 events and a recent 2nd (from 3lb lower) in this grade at Doncaster behind a progressive horse was a good effort in first-time cheekpieces. That headgear remains on and he’s been left alone by the handicapper and with Frankie Dettori taking the ride (worth noting that it’s his only mount of the day) he looks set to be involved providing he handles this quicker surface.
