Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur Predictions, Betting Tips & Preview
Two famous rivals will meet on Saturday lunchtime as Arsenal host Tottenham Hotspur. The visitors can move three points clear of United and seven ahead of Arsenal here, whilst the Gunners can gut the gap between them and their rivals to just one.
Game: Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur
Venue: Emirates Stadium
Kick-off: Saturday, 18th November, 12.45PM
Tottenham and United both fell further behind in the title race with losses just before the international break, but Spurs will have the first chance to cut the deficit between them and City, and move three clear of United in doing so. But more important on the day might be the seven point gap that could be held over Arsenal.
The Gunners won’t want that. Their 3-1 loss to Manchester City confirmed what we already knew about their title challenge, but a win here would remind Spurs and the other top four sides why Arsenal have been ever present in the Champions League spots.
Having avoided their regular first home game of the season stumble this year, Wenger’s men have won nine of 10 and kept out five of the visiting teams. They’ll be hard pressed to make it six, but Spurs could be without some key players on the back of a busy weak for Christian Eriksen.
Arsenal are favorites to win this game at odds of 6/4 with Betfred. The draw can be backed at best odds of 5/2 with Unibet, whilst Spurs are a close matched 9/5 with Paddy Power to upset their near hosts.
Tottenham are unbeaten in their last four games against Arsenal, although they’ve only won once. They’ve also left the Emirates with a point in each of the last three seasons having drawn 1-1 on the back of goals from Harry Kane and Nacer Chadli. The latter is long gone, but the former has scored six times in six meetings.
Harry Kane was declared fit for this game on Sunday, despite pulling out of England’s friendly on Tuesday. No wonder we don’t win tournaments. BUT the important thing for Spurs fans here is their star man plays, and as long as the likes of Kane and Alli are on the field, tormented Arsenal may have to wait a little bit longer to get back to winning ways against their rivals.

Things have been so tight in recent meetings and there’s no evidence to suggest that should change. Spurs were water tight against Palace, and Arsenal actually defended pretty well against Man City. Seven of the last 10 meetings have seen two or fewer goals and the last three here have finished 1-1.
Back our Score Prediction: A 1-1 Draw at 13/2 with Betfair
Harry Kane has scored si goals in six meetings with Arsenal and the local boy would surely love to rub the nose of disgruntled Arsenal fans in the dirt here. There are rumours abound that Kane wants a move to Madrid (haven’t heard that one before), and so as usual the constantly criticised Kane will probably be keen to write his own headlines here.
Back our Scorer Prediction: Harry Kane to score at 39/40 with Bet365
