Interview With Gaz Sax Racing - Horse Racing Tipster
1.How did you first get into sports betting? At a very young age my dad got me into watching the racing on a Saturday afternoon on BBC and never looked back.
2.At what point did you realise that you can make some real money from sports betting?
When I realised that short prices don't represent value, they represent what other punters think. Also, the realisation that it's not just a matter of what you bet on, it's equally important what you don't bet on. Also realising that greed isn't good. Multiples will not work long term. It's singles that make consistent profit
3.How did you come to select Horse Racing as your chosen sport?
My sister and mum both had a horse when I was young, so I did grow up around them and that’s just stuck with me through the years. Think it also helped living so close to Epsom racecourse, was always over watching the horses in training as a kid at weekends.
4.Are there any particular events that you look forward to throughout the year?
Cheltenham is the best week of the year, been going for years to gold cup day. Also a big fan of Kempton on Boxing Day which is another meeting I will always be at with the family.
5.What was your best ever bet?
Not sure a could pick one as I have had quite a few very good wins in the years passed, but for the last 6 Grand National my sole selection has finished 2nd, that really does take some talent.
6.What kind of factors do you evaluate before making a selection?
I’m a big fan of the stats and you can find me each night going through the jump races over on Horse Race Base site which is very good for all my needs plus the systems i have set up for myself.
7.What has been the biggest influence on your betting career?
The ability to subscribe to stats, allowing me to make far more of an informed decision?
8.Do you have any future plans in regards to your service?
Just to keep turning in profit after profit month in month out
9.What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your betting career?
Accounts being restricted by bookies all over the board.
10.How do you balance your betting time and family life?
It’s very hard at times with a young family but it help my wife knows how much a enjoy going through the cards of a night. So many late nights after everyone is asleep are my main time to study.
11.Do you have a favourite horse that you follow regularly?
Sprinter Sacre and before that Best Mate, both of which I have picture of in my office at work.
12.How do you keep calm when you hit a run of losing bets?
The best thing to do is don’t change what you are doing. Everyone has bad runs and it happens, it’s the good ones who still finish with a plus at the end of the month which is all important.
13.How do you organise your bank management?
I use an 80points a month system and never go over that amount, would rather put up one very good chance than three who I “fancy”
14. What is the best reason you could give to anyone who was thinking about following Your Horse Racing Tipster service?
Having carefully researched every selection, the biggest satisfaction for me is knowing that other people are winning potentially life changing amounts as a direct result of following my advice.
