Analysis – I’m happy to take on the rejuvinated rogue Something Lucky, he has stall 12 not ideal 10st 1 with no claim not ideal but on the positive he is in cracking form. The one I like we did last time out at Newcastle when slowly away drawn low the jockey switched him behind the entire field to come up the stands rail to finish 4L 7th, very strange as the first 4 home all ran up the far side where he was originally drawn. Last time here he was drawn highest of all and ran up the stands rail another place you don’t want to be. He hast stall 7 today so just run in a straight line as it is the quickest way from A to B especially over just under 5F.He was dropped 3lb for that last run so now 1lb below his only winning mark,runs in same grade 0-60 but does only have 9st 6 instead of 10st 2 he had last time.

Analysis – An old fav of mine who won me a small fortune when he won at Glorious Goodwood several years ago now. Down to a career low mark having his first run for 146 days on his first run on the AW at Southwell,previously only 8 AW runs mainly at Kempton with 2 2nds and a 3rd. There’s alot to take on trust but his stable have had 4 winners from last 22 runners in last 14 days so he shouldn’t want for fitness and he has run well off a break before.

Analysis – MR BOSSY BOOTS runs tomorrow from the 20 to follow h’cap list but he’s only 4-1 in a 7 runner race against Gentleman.At that price I can watch him win without my money on him if you wish to do him thats up to you but I’ll hold fire and see what the market does.

Analysis – Although his last 6 runs the form reads 9-PF050 beaten 189L in the 4 completed races I think there’s a lot to like about the chance of WAY OF THE WORLD. His sole win came over 2m3f 147yds on heavy ground off 99. That day he beat Wazowski getting 5lbs now rated 105 the 3rd home was Cougar Kid who has won 3 of his last 5 races and now rated 114, that day he gave 1lb to the selection if they met today the selection would be getting 22lb plus 7 for the jockey. That race was in Jan 2017 so same time of year, he’s run here at Towcester just once when 2nd of 13 in a NH flat race to Skipthecuddles beaten 1L now rated 132. After he won his race at Hereford he dropped back to 2m off 4lb higher and ran 2nd showing the form of the win was no fluke and winner of that race was Yourgonnahearmeroaor who won last time out over fences and now rated 117, he was outpaced that day getting left behind by the 2 leaders before rallying from the last to be a strong finishing 2nd.After he followed that over 2m4 at Ffos Las off 103 beaten just 3L into 3rd again showing form was solid. On his last run of the season he was 9th of 9 at Hereford of 105 beaten 65L by Late Shipment getting 5lb now rated 122. Reason for heavy defeat the trip was 3m1+, he pulled up at Wincanton next time over 2m7 on good/firm, fell when back to 2m4 on soft at the 7th when still going well. In November 2017 he was 11th of 15 to Cougar Kid beaten 38L over CD he had beaten him over but on good ground. His Dec run over 2m4 heavy at Ffos Las with today jockey on was a decent run though only 5th he was beaten just over 9L off 99. Last time out 10th of 17 beaten 76L off 96 behind dead heaters at Ludlow, reason for such heavy defeat the trip was 3m plus running in class 4 0-110 against inform runners in Virginia Chick and Flashjack. Today he’s back down to Class 5 0-100 off just 92 less jockeys 7lb claim on soft ground over 2m4 on a track he’s run once and finished 2nd with first time cheek pieces. I’m really hoping for 33-1 but would take as low as 16-1 we will see when market opens.His trainer hasn’t had a winner since WOTW last won so over 12months.
