Analysis – Has a fantastic record at this track having won 4/5 (80%) of his visits here with two of those coming over this trip (only two attempts at the extended 2m3f so far). He’s 5lb above that last win but still has the potential of more improvement as he’s still only a six-year old and the drop back in trip is a positive having not seen out 3m the last day. A previous eighth placed finish at Uttoxeter wasn’t his true running but that race has been given numerous boosts since and his trainer Neil King is currently operating at a 50% strike-rate in the past fortnight (5/10).

Analysis – The nine-year old has been a great servant to connections accumulating no less than 17 victories, 11 of which have come over this five-furlong trip. He landed a hat-trick on turf in September and subsequently is 16lb higher than for the first of those but his most recent outing saw him go down by a length in a higher grade handicap off this mark of 82 and this is a mark in which he has previously won three times on the synthetics. The return to this course could well see this gelding land another success with his form figures here reading 2-1-1-1-2, nicely drawn and trainer in a bit of form.
