Analysis – This filly should be capable of winning this race if fully wound up on the form she’s shown to date. She’s a multiple Group 1 winner with the most impressive of those victories when landing the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury back in May with subsequent Sussex Stakes winner Lightning Spear back in 2nd and Tattersalls Gold Cup winner Lancaster Bomber in third (numerous other winners have been produced from that race). That was over a mile and she’s stepped back up to 1m2f but did win a Group 1 race in Chantilly over this trip last October on soft ground. She’s given Urban Fox two thrashings in the past so should have her covered, handles any surface and represents the yard who has won the last two runnings.

Analysis – This filly relished stepping up to a mile-and-a-half last season when winning both a listed contest at Newmarket as well as a Group 2 over in Deauville (both on soft) and has since continued that form in three starts this term. She came on for her reappearance run when winning a Group 3 at Haydock before posting an even better effort in defeat in the Group 2 Lancashire Oaks over the same C&D (beaten by a short-head) when shaping as though this step up to 1m6f will suit. The ground shouldn’t be a problem and the assistance of Ryan Moore could be key.

Analysis – Wasn’t beaten far in a decent novice event on debut over the extended six-furlong trip before going on to score over seven-furlongs on Newamrket’s July course. He returned to that same track and trip in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes last time out when travelling powerfully entering the furlong pole but looked as though that trip was too far in the better grade. He shaped as though the drop back to six should suit and it’s interesting to hear his trainer Richard Hannon say this was his best chance of a winner this week and he would have definitely aimed this colt at this race with the yard winning six of the last ten renewals. Dettori rides.
