Analysis – Course form reads well having won 3/5 here, all over track and trip and he’s only 3lb higher than when winning an identical race to this on his penultimate start. This gelding was down the field in a strong sprint handicap over 5f at York at the back end of May and this step back up to 6f will suit much better along with the drop in class. Danny Tudhope has won three times on the gelding and is back on board now and I personally think his current price is quite generous. An open race but I’d like to think the in-form David O’Meara’s charge has a solid chance.
