Analysis – Disappointed the last day when last of twelve at Brighton back in August but has since moved yards to Michael Appleby which could help thi three-year old return to form. He’s been dropped a couple of pounds which puts him on a mark of 77 which is 2lb lower than when winning over C&D at the start of the year and that was his only run on the all-weather to date. He was deemed good enough to run in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes last year so he clearly has the ability and he does look very overpriced if showing his best form now running in a class 5 handicap. Cieran Fallon claims a very handy 3lb and from a low draw he could well outrun his odds.

Analysis – Dan Skelton enjoys a winner at one of his local tracks and his seven-year old is back on the same mark as when winning over 2m here last May. He was beaten half-a-length in this year’s running of that race and since stepping up in trip he’s been narrowly beaten twice off a similar mark (over the extended 2m4f). Not at his best the last day at Worcester after a short break but with that run under his belt he may be able to get back on track of only a pound higher than when short-headed on his penultimate start.
