Analysis - Despite being a twelve-year old he boasts some good course form (2-1-1) and both of those wins have come from higher marks than he’s having to run off here. The trip is fine and he’s got form on soft ground (including when winning over C&D on this terrain) and though this is a step up in class he’s well handicapped and the booking of Connor Brace (claiming 3lb) looks an interesting one for a yard who are 3/6 with chasers here in the past five seasons. Hopefully can outrun his large odds and run into a place, if not better.

Analysis - This six-year old won at Perth back in September and though held the next day that came over slightly further and he was back in form when third behind a subsequent winner at Carlisle a month ago. He’s won with give in the ground before and this looks slightly weaker than for his recent third, Danny McMenamin takes off a valuable 5lb with his claim and the drop back to the minimum should be a plus.
