Analysis – A 2 times winner on good/firm both in h’caps off 56 & 59 today only 48 with first time visor on and Adam Kirby riding. This is a 1m4 class 6 selling h’cap and the selection has won over this trip plus a 2mile win both at Chepstow, he is yet to race at Brighton so that is somewhat of an unknown but all other factors look positive for a good run.

Analysis – Due to a series of NRs I’ve gone back over the 4.10 race my inital thoughts had the race between See The Sun and Jack Luey both were originally 16-1 chances but See The Sun has been backed into 8-1 and although may well still win I hate backing something that is now 1/2 the price it was. Whereas Jack Luey is still 16-1 and does now look to be a bit of value as he is a CD winner a winner on soft and heavy ground plus a winner off higher marks. Now a 10yo he will be on the downgrade but by how much is latest run was a poor one over CD behind Cross Fire but he was 9-2fav that day on the back of a couple of decent runs, so I’m prepared to forgive him that run. He is a 7 times career winner off marks of 63-65-68-78-82-75-69 all 6 turf wins have been over 5F. I know it could be a double whamy if STS wins but you have to go with whats value and STS at 8-1 or less isn’t for me.
