Analysis – This three-year old went close to a higher-rated rival on first attempt at 1m4f from this mark in a class 3 at Haydock in June and after dropping 3lb in subsequent runs got his first handicap success in this grade on the polytrack at Lingfield. He’s not been disgraced the last twice having gone back up 3lb with most recent run his best to date on RPR, so if able to repeat that effort he should be in the thick of things with his trainer rarely saddling a runner here.

Analysis – Ran well in two novice events on first two outings before landing a maiden over track and trip last month. She begins life in handicap company on what looks a decent mark based on the form of her first three runs and jockey Jason Watson, who is having a great season, keeps the ride and takes off a handy 3lb with his claim. The good-to-firm forecast ground is what she won on here so hopefully she can go well.

Analysis – This four-year old has been competing at a higher level than this for on all but one appearance this season and has been running with credit in recent months. His only victory this year came when down in this class 5 company from a 4lb lower mark and he’s still handicapped to win a race of this nature having won from marks 2lb and 4lb higher in the past. The form of his third in a higher grade last time out has been franked twice and off the same mark back down in grade should run well over a trip in which he’s excelled at so far.
