Analysis – This filly has won twice in novice company both over this mile trip, once on soft ground at Newbury before winning over C&D on good-to-firm with a subsequent winner a length back in second. His recent effort at Haydock was over a furlong too short and the small field would have made it a tactical affair, so back up to a mile with eight runners can see him go well as he has the course form and also the added assistance of Ryan Moore in the saddle.

Analysis – This three-year old has been competitive in all but one outing since a wind op winning once as well as some close efforts, some in better grades than this. The win came in this class 6 company over the extended five-furlongs where he was four-and-a-half lengths in front of the second and he’s gone close the last twice in class 5 races. The first of those was over the minimum, where the second has come out and won since, whereas the latter was on Tuesday (from same mark) over this six-furlong trip and he was only beaten two-lengths by an improver. Back down in grade along with the 3lb claim of Jason Watson, this gelding looks slightly overpriced and can go well with forecast good ground ideal.

Analysis – Finished his race off well at Newmarket on nursery debut a fortnight ago on ground that wouldn’t have suited and there was a subsequent winner in behind. This quicker ground will suit with a previous victory at Carlisle in a novice as evidence under today’s pilot Andrew Mullen (other outing on this horse was that nursery debut), still unexposed over this seven-furlong trip and the addition of first-time cheekpieces could well be enough to get this two-year old up-and-running in handicap company.
