Analysis - A couple of top horses in this Group 3 but it’s an unexposed type that I think could go close. Beaten a nose on debut over 7f at Newbury this three-year old bolted up on first start this season at the same course over a mile and was even better when gaining a listed win at Newmarket stepped up to 1m2f for the first time. He was subsequently well held in the French Derby but that was always going to be a tough ask in Group 1 company and now in an easier, though still very competitive Group race, Andrew Balding’s colt has the potential to improve much further being very unexposed and has shown he can handle most surfaces.

Analysis - Won over C&D on first start and improved quite markedly on second start when beaten just half-a-length in a Sandown listed event just over a fortnight ago with Wet End Girl further behind. She looks the type to improve with racing and comes from a leading yard and this daughter of Kodiac could be the answer to a tricky Group 3 for Fillies.

Analysis - A winner on second career start when scoring over Pontefract’s stiff 1m2f and doubled his career tally when winning on handicap debut at Salisbury, stepped up to 1m4f for the first time and he can be forgiven his latest run when sent off favourite in a hot Goodwood handicap the last day as that wasn’t his true running. The form of his Salisbury win has been given a couple of boosts since and the drop back to 1m2f might just suit for now, so if able to find that previous form then he should be very competitive dropped a pound for that last outing.
