Analysis – He’s the winner of 6 races in total 2/16 on the AW off marks of 78 for his maiden win and then a C3 h’cap at Chelmsford off 87 that was in Oct 2015 his last win. On turf he’s 4/31 off marks of 74-78-80-84 on ground from firm at Bath and soft at Newmarket. His best run this season came over 6F on soft groun at Newmarket when a very fast finishing 4th off 72 in a Hands n Heels apprentice race. He reverts to blinkers here from no headgear last few runs when blinkers are his winning most aid plus in 2014 when he was most succesful M.Dwyer rode him for 3 of those 4 turf wins including his first 2 wins and his last one on turf and hasn’t ridden him in his last 23 races since leaving Willie Muirs stable. Everything points to a massive run now running off a mark of just 65. The only question mark is the course as he has never run at Leicester before but trip/going/mark/jockey/headgear are all spot on for a big run.

Analysis – Couldn’t make my mind up between them as we have done them both recently. As this is an amateur jockeys race I’m happy to do both and hope one runs his race for his jockey. Imperial Legend only ran a couple of days ago at Redcar and Vecheka ran poorly when last last time out so needs to find the form of his previous run at Hamilton.

Analysis – Quite literally last chance saloon for this one, I would just love to see them run him from the front. He is my cliff horse and I know day I give up on him he’ll win. He’s morethan capable of winning in this grade of this mark but he’s proving very unreliable and they are the dangerous ones they win the day you give up (Ninjago,CrossFire) like others have.

Analysis – I was less than impressed with the ride this one got at Musselburgh last week when held up in rear until rapid headway round the outside of the field going round the home bend travelling much further than any other runner. That move took him from lst to first and a good 2L lead 2f out only for him to tie up badly and fade last furlong to finish behind the horses he breezed past. The same jockey rides him again today but he is a on a CD he has won over, 20-1 looks very generous here.

Analysis – Already won twice for us at massive odds and she’s now a 12 times winner including 2 from 7 on the AW one of which was over CD for us.That was Nov 2016 off 77 and the other was 1m at Redcar on good/firm off 73 when 20-1 outsider of the field.She has run alot since that win 11mths including a 3rd of 10 over 7F here and a 2nd over CD she is a few lbs higher in the h’cap now but has the same 5lb claimer that rides our other runner Falcons Fire Rowan Scott.
