Tipsters Review - November 22, 2018

Today’s Horse Racing Tips

Todays Racing Tip – THE BOTTOM BAR

Time & Track – 12.45 Sandown (11/11)
Best Odds – 11/2 @ Sky Bet

Stake – 2pt win

Analysis – Since joining Nicky Henderson after a couple of bumper runs for Paul Webber, this six-year old has out in four decent performances. After a 2nd on debut he won his next start at Market Rasen when upped to this 2m4f trip by five-lengths on soft ground before narrowly beaten when upped further in trip. He can be excused a lesser effort when least seen as that came on a quicker surface and after a summer break he returns making his handicap debut from a mark of 127 which shouldn’t be beyond him nd the ground has come just right for his reappearance. Nicky has a 28% strike-rate here over the past five seasons and will be hoping to add to that with his son of Stowaway.

Result – Lost

Todays Racing Tip – LOOSE CHIPS

Time & Track – 3.25 Sandown (11/11)
Best Odds – 7/1 @ Bet365

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Won this back in 2016 and was 3rd last year (though beaten a long way) so it’s a race connections target, though there are a few others whose aim is this. He was running off a mark of 137 when he won this two years ago and has also won from a 2lb higher mark than that in the past and now running off 130 looks dangerously handicapped having gone very close from this mark before. He returned with a very promising fifth last time at Carlisle and the winner, Looksnowtlikebrian, has come out and won since. Paul O’Brien gets on well with the horse and claims a further 5lb, likes the soft ground and should be competitive from the front at a course he has shown his best form at.

Result – Won +7

Todays Racing Tip – NABHAN

Time & Track – 4.10 Ffos Las
Best Odds – 17/2 @ Betfair

Stake – 1pt win

Analysis – Taking a punt on one here who has only the one hurdles win which came in a juvenile event at Newbury two years ago. He’s been alternating between hurdling and flat in last four runs and although his last outing was a bad one that came over the extended 2m3f in a 0-120 and he’s now dropped into 0-105, the last time he ran at this level he was beaten by just under two-lengths from a pound higher mark. The drop back to 2m should also suit with his better efforts coming over this distance and he does go well at this course having won on the level here. Lorcan Williams has his first ride for this trainer at a course he is 2/6 at and with ground fine this six-year old could outrun his odds.

Result – Non Runner

November Monthly Total: 3.25pts
