Analysis - Despite it being two years since this six-year old has got his head in front, he went very close in a higher grade handicap recently at York and there has been a couple of winners come out of that race. He’s 7lb below his highest winning perch and if reproducing the form he showed at the end of July then he should go close in this lower grade. He handles any surface (slightly softer would suit more) and all three career wins have come over this six-furlong trip.

Analysis - Have followed this horse the last twice where he’s ran decent races over track and trip and the handicapper has eased him a pound for those outings (now 5lb below last winning mark) and Callum Rodriguez is well worth his 3lb claim. He has a C&D victory to his name along with a couple of other good efforts here and I don’t think it’ll be long before this four-year old gets back in the winners enclosure.
