Analysis - This eleven-year old has a good record at this course with form figures reading 2-3-1-2-1 and another big run could be on the cards again with him only 3lb above his highest winning perch and that weight is being taken off by 3lb-claimer Paige Fuller, who is 4/9 on the gelding. He ran well the last day from out of the handicap in a class 2 handicap at Sandown at the beginning of the month when finishing third behind the 139-rated Locker Room Talk and the drop back down to class 4 company will help. He’ll have to show his best form to beat the hat-trick seeking Flaminger but there’s every chance he could do so at a course he likes and in his conditions, so at the prices I think he’s worth chancing.
