Analysis – A Class 4 0-105 over just short of 3m where the one I like has some decent course form with a win in a NH flat race and 3rd of 9 beaten 4L in a 3m h’cap hurdle off 102 where he led 3 out and made mistakes at the 3rd and 2nd last before rallying well on the run in. Last time he pulled up Catterick over 3m2 in a class 4 0-120 so this is a big drop back in grade. A repeat of the 3rd to Court Baloo would give him a favourites chance here.

Analysis – A class 5 0-100 h’cap hurdle over 1m7f 124yds a weak looking race where there’s not a great deal of good form on show. I’m taking a chance on the lightly raced 7yo Devils Water who has only run 10 times pulling up on 5 of them. He hadn’t run since May and changed stables in January this year so making his debut for his new stable wearing a hood for the first time he pulled up after his saddle slipped. Now dropping back in trip to 2m a trip he’s only run over once in a NH flat race on only his 2nd run. His best run came on his only run here when a very good 3rd to Dear Sire who has 5 times since and now rated 137, only beaten 5L that day a repeat would see him home here off just 96 less jockeys 5lb claim.

Analysis – A Class 6 0-65 7f apprentice h’cap with 12 runners, the one I like the look of is a CD winner coming from stall 5. Air Of York is an 8 times winner with 6 coming on the AW 2 over CD of 77-60 so todays mark of 62 less Harrison Shaw’s 3lb claim gives him a very realistic chance of getting his 9th career win and first since winning at bath in October of 60 and prior to that over CD under L.Morris by 5L.He likes to be prominent and stall 5 will alllow him to do that.
