Analysis – A 4 times winner all over 6F off progressive marks including Ayr Silver Cup in 2014. Hasn’t won since 2015 but is now 14lb below his highest mark. He has 6F again after running over 5F for 7 of his 9 runs for Robert Cowell. He also has a hood back on a head gear he has won in in the past but been missing for his last 12 runs. Ashpam Sam will go hard from the front but under a 6lb penalty for last weeks CD win when we were on does make him vulnerable to a finisher.

Analysis – Not my usual type of race but I tipped this one at Royal Ascot at 66-1 6 places with Skybet he finished 7th somehow as he should have been in the first 4 I’ve no idea how Oisin Murphy managed to lose those 3 places. This is only 8 runners today but a repeat of that Ascot run would give him a great chance of gaining compensation and 8-1 seems on the generous side to me.

Analysis – Former Group 1 winner of the Prix De L’Abbaye at Longchamp, he’s clearly not that good anymore and has found winning difficult for the last 2 seasons. He was rated 113 when winning that Group 1 and that was his 9th and latest success now down to a mark of 94 he needs to bounce back from his last of 17 at Musselburgh in the race we had the 18-1 winner Line Of Reason. Although last he was only beaten 6L after finding no room which often happens at Musselburgh in big fields. Prior to that he also encoutered serious trouble in running in the Epsom Dash behind Caspian Prince as a result he’s 6lb below Epso and 5lb below Musselburgh which now makes him a very dangerous horse to ignore as he hasn’t run in lower grade than Class 2 in a h’cap since March 2013.

Analysis – He was a NR for us last week so I’m happy to do him again here even if he is up against our recent 20-1 Wolverhampton winner Know Your Name again ridden by Abbie McCain. The selection is now below his last winning mark so has a really decent chance for his in form stable.

Analysis – Ran well for us last timeout at Beverley when a closing 3rd. He’s a CD winner and 2 places from 6 runs and this is a very low grade affair being class 6 0-60 where Bunce is the danger but ran in a seller last time out so that shows you the level we are at here.WILL NOT BE A SELECTION AT THAT PRICE

Analysis – Ran well for a long way at Pontefract 2 races ago when he probably went a stride too quick and paid for that late on. Last time at Chelmsford was beaten but plugging on when squeezed out between runners and was eased off for a 4L beating. He boasts a 100% course record with 1/1 in a £20k 2yo Class 2 race in June 2015. He’s also 1lb below his last winning mark from Nottingham in October 2016 this track does suit front runners so he could lead all the way.

Analysis – He won for us at 22-1 back in Feb on the AW at Newcastle, that win was over 7F and it was his 5th career win. The earlier wins came over 5F twice and 6F he then won a class 2 0-110 h’cap at Leicester over 7F off 100 by a head. A 6mth break and change of stables saw him lose his way for a while but a 2nd in a class 2 50K h’cap at Ascot in September over 7F showed he still retained his ability that was off 96.A further change of stable saw him run some not so good races mixed with some good runs inc 2nd in this last year off 98 plus a 2nd at Goodwood both over 7F. He then ran well in big field valauble h’caps until switching to the AW where he ran well 1st time at Newcastle beaten a length and then followed up by winning off 95. He’s had 3 runs since and is now 2lb below that Newcastle winning mark and 5lb lower than when 2nd in this last year 16-1 5 places looks great ew value. Miracle in Medinah at 33-1 was very nearly the selection and does represent some ew value in a wide open race.
