Analysis – This is one from the 20 AW H’cappers to follow list who has been given a real big chance by the h’capper after being dropped 5lb since his lst run in December. In Class 4 h’caps on the AW his form reads 1-3-1-1 all 4 runs over todays 7 furlongs, further more ALL 6 career wins have been over 7F. He’s also won in Class 3 off 88 & class 2 off 91 at Newcastle. He should/wouldhave won several runs back here in class 2 off 90 but R.Kingscote got into allsorts of trouble on the inside and eventually had to ease him right off as he had nowhere to go. Since then he’s run over 1mile at Chelmsford then back here over CD last time in class 3 had no luck behind Shyron. This is easier company with probably Exchequer to beat but with a clear run he really should be winning this. I had him 6-1 3rd best in my betting FC so will happily take anything bigger than that.

Analysis – We did him last time out as a 33-1 nap he finished well down the outside for a closing 3rd place but 3+L behind the easy winner SPARE PARTS. That day he gave the winner 2lbs and as that runner has gone on to complete a hattrick he now meets that rival on a staggering 30lbs better terms. I’m not expecting a huge price this time but we need at least 4-1 to make it viable, the other runner here Soaring Spirits should have won last time out for us no idea how Robert Winston got beat on him and even after seeing the photo its tough to take he looks to be the main danger to the selection and Spare Parts.

Analysis – He’s a 3 times course winner from 4 career wins, his last was a 2m3 class 2 off 125 so todays class 4 0-115 off 112 is very winnable if he can put some very lack lustre runs behind him. He’s had 31 days off since his last run and now has first time tongue tie to go with the usual cheek pieces.The obvious big factor here is he has Bryony Frost taking 5lb off his back as well which is a boost for any horse these days.

Analysis – Ran well from the front over 2m3 at Taunton last time out after reverting from a poor chase run. Now back to 2miles on soft ground he has conditions to suit as his last win was a 2m1f class 4 h’ap chase at Plumpton off 112 and his sole hurdls win was again at Plumpton over 2m on heavy ground in a novice event giving him a mark of 120. Today he’s down to 107 which is a career low mark.Both wins he made all though that is easier round Plumpton than here at Newbury but I’m sure he’ll make a bold bid to repeat it.
