Analysis – Had a good campaign on the all-weather through the winter/spring months and wasn’t disgraced in a hot handicap in a higher grade last time out when faded inside the furlong pole over a longer trip. This is his first try at 1m6f but he shaped as though this drop in trip would suit and the booking of William Buick is eye-catching. Yet to win on turf but is 8lb lower than his all-weather mark and this slightly softer ground might be key to his chances, as well as the drop in grade.

Analysis – Found things tough in a class 2 handicap the last day at Newmarket last month but had previously won over track and trip in this grade from a 3lb lower mark and the form of that has been franked with the second coming out and winning since. Her best races have come over this mile trip as she has been soundly beaten when upped to 1m2f, the ground isn’t an issue as she’s won on good at Salisbury with today’s pilot Oisin Murphy on board and still slightly unexposed on sixth start in a handicap this filly can go well.
