Analysis – Ran a cracker for us 3 races back at Chester when a very well backed runner. He ran well but just didn’t see it out then 2 races ago ran over this CD in a conditions race where he ran much better than his rating should have allowed him too and then last time although 5th of 6 he was beaten only just over 1L. He’s a 7 times winner with 3 on AW and 4 on turf his last winning mark was 107 at Lingfield in December last year having won off 105 in November at Nottingham on turf now running of 96 he should make a bold bid to lead all the way.

Analysis – A class 6 0-55 over 7F this one has won 5 times all over in Ireland with 4 on the AW at Dundalk. His last win was off 50 he then ran 3rd of 14 off 55 so todays mark of 47 less Phil Dennis’ 3lb could be a dangerous mark. He’s had just 4 runs since joining Declan Carroll 3 on turf over 1m2 or 6f with just 1 aw run at Wolverhampton over 7F. Everything looks good for a big run but stall 13 would be a concern.

Analysis – I’m really torn about doing this one as I think he should win if he repeats last weeks CD run when 3rd but 5-1 is on the short side for me but I can see him being even shorter come the off maybe a 5-2/3-1 shot.

Analysis – This is a very competitive mare h’cap over 2m4, I napped this one last time out at Warwick where she U/R down the back which was too far out ot say how she would have gone that day. On her previous run she would have a decent chance. I also had a liking for Bitter Virtue here but went against doing the 2. If the nap jumps round this time she should run into a place at least.

Analysis – Class 5 0-100 2m7 h’cap hurdle where top weight Plantagenet has won his last 3 including one over CD but off 79-85-90 now off 97 he’s got his work cut out to complete the 4 timer. Also Eddy who won for 3rd time last week since switching to Sue Gardne yard and has a 7lb penalty for that win so may now struggle. The one I like last ran on the flat 28 days ago when 6th over 2m at Chepstow but he’s now 0/8 on the level but does has 5 3rds from 10 runs over hurdles. He was 3rd over 2m4 here last time over hurdles off 90 now off 88 he would have a decent ew chance in a race where the front 2 in my view will be overbet because of their string of 1’s.
