Todays Racing Tip - SKIDBY MILL (NAP)
Time & Track - 3.25 LINGFIELD (WED)
Best Odds - 25-1
Analysis - A 7 times CD winner from her 10 career wins. Those wins have come off marks of 52-56-55-59-64-70-71 other career wins have been off 51 at Kempton and 64 at Chelmsford. In full her AW career has 9 wins 10x2nds and 7x 3rds from 56 career runs which is near enough a 50% S/R.She has a 5lb claimer taking her down to 65 here but she will need to bounce back from 3 consecutive 11th placed finishes. the first was 7 months ago then after 6 months off hses had 2 runs in September to get herself to full fitness so should now be capable of a much better showing.
Result - Lost
Todays Racing Tip - SOARING SPIRITS
Time & Track - 4.30 LINGFIELD (WED)
Best Odds - 22-1
Analysis - I really liked the look of the bottom weight here, I thought 22-1 was a little generous for this CD winner. He's won 8/56 including two over CD off 72 & 76 now 11lb & 15lb below those marks he comes here with a good looking chance, although the numerous 3yos in the race do pose a serious question mark. It's been a while since he ran here at Lingfield and when he last did it was over 7F so dropping in trip on a return to here where his only 2 AW wins have come does make him look interesting.
Result - Lost
Todays Racing Tip - BASHIBA & MOVE IN TIME
Time & Track - 4.40 NOTTINGHAM (WED)
Best Odds - 12-1 & 12-1
Analysis - Two sprinters who have become cliff horses for me, both are very well treated and have the ability to win this easily but both have a little bit of character. Bashiba needs producing last minute which does encourage the unlucky look to his style. He won very cosily last summer but hasn't won since despite some very good efforts through the summer. Move In Time has just become frustrating he's had runs which shows he still retains the ability even if not the same level that saw him win the Abbaye but now with sprint h'cap king Paul Midgely having left D.O'Maera he could well produce the goods on his first run for his new trainer though he's still in same ownership.
Result - Non Runner & Lost
Todays Racing Tip - DR DORO & AWESOME ALLAN
Time & Track - 5.15 NOTTINGHAM (WED)
Best Odds - 16-1 & 25-1
Analysis - Dr Doro was twice a NR for us when backed off the boards the first time with a vets certificate then last time due to unsuitable ground, that was always a dodgy one as the ground was the same as his sole win, so it will be intersting to see what happens here. He opened 20-1 which was always going to go quickly though I was happy to take 16-1. He's been off now for over 100days so will need to be fit for this after such a break but I.Williams horses are still in good form so no reason to think he won't be ready. The other one I like is very unusual for me as he's only a 3yo running against older horses but this CD winner just seems huge at 25-1. He won over CD in a 2yo nursery off 77 and has been running over 7F for his last few runs now down to just 60 he looks to have a great chance of figuring in the finish.
