Analysis - Unsuccessful in his first three stars, though was beaten a neck by one now rated 101 over this extended 1m at Epsom and has raised his game this autumn since a gelding operation. He won a maiden over C&D comfortably before landing a Sandown handicap off a 6lb lower mark and arrives here on the back of a staying-on fifth last time in a hot race at Ascot a fortnight ago. This drop in class coupled with the step back up in trip should suit this unexposed three-year old and the addition of a first-time hood could too prove effective. It’s a tricky looking race but I’d be disappointed if he isn’t involved in the finish.
