Todays Racing Tip – HANDS OF STONE
Time & Track – 12.30 FFOS LAS (MONDAY)
Best Odds – 12-1

Analysis – This one didn’t make it to the TTS qualifiers as he finished 6th last time out but I really like his chances here with Mitch Bastyan taking 3lb off his back as his mark of 102 only just gets him into this Class 5 0-100 conditional jockeys h’cap hurdle. His trainer Evan Williams has a tremendous record here at ffos Las his local track. Hand Of Stone has only had 7 runs with 3 NH flast runs followed by 4 novice hurdles now running in first time h’cap with a drop in grade and a step up in trip all looks to suggest he should improve for the conditions including the heavy ground.

Todays Racing Tip – JUSTATENNER (NAP)
Time & Track – 12.40 MUSSELBURGH (MONDAY)
Best Odds – 14-1

Analysis – We’ve done this one a few times now without reward even though he’s run well at some massive odds. He’s also fallen twice for us which doesn’t bode too well but stepped back up to 3m after several runs over shorter should suit him better and he is now very well treated off this mark of 89 in a quite open but weak looking Class 4 0-100 h’cap.

Todays Racing Tip – DANCE OF FIRE
Time & Track – 3.20 MUSSELBURGH (MONDAY)
Best Odds – 18-1 4 places SKYBET (16-1)

Analysis – I strongly suggest shopping around for best EW terms for this race as I’m pretty certain some firms will be going 4 places. Its a Class 4 0-110 2mile h’cap hurdle where the one I like hasn’t run over hurdles for 71 days but did run on the flat 55 days ago. He’s a 3 times flat winner 2 on turf and 1 on AW those wins coming in a maiden at Epsom on soft ground a 1mile straight h’cap off 76 at Doncaster and a 10f h’cap at Chelmsford off 83, they were all for A.Balding now with Nick Alexander since Nov 2016 he’s had 8 runs for his new stable with little form on offer. He’s only had 1 run in a h’cap hurdle off 103 when beaten 27L at Kelso that was after 3 months off. Since then he ran at Newcastle in a 10f claimer beaten 15L at 40-1. Its clear he’s not as good a horse as he used to be but with only 17lb between hurdles and flat marks does make him look very well treated he also has first time hood on plus softer ground than he’s encountered since joining the Alexanders. I really think he’ll showed improved form here today with race conditions more to his liking and a drop in grade.
