Analysis – Has a terrific record at this track with form figures 3-1-3-1-3 and I’m hoping the sequence continues here. He was a very unlucky third over C&D last Tuesday when blocked for room as he was trying to sneak up the rail and off the same mark should be competitive. He was a good second to a big improver in June and that came from only a pound lower and despite stepping up in class for this he has been successful in this grade here back in January. Brodie Hampson claims a vital 5lb again and she has a nice partnership with the gelding having won four times already on the seven-year old. William H Bonney could be hard to beat in this grade but is plenty short enough in the market and hasn’t won since January 2017 so worth taking on with the course specialist.
