Analysis – Has won 2/22 both in his first 3 career runs. The first was a 5F maiden at Pontefract on good ground followed by a 3yo h’cap off 90 over 6F again at Pontefract on good/soft. Today is a class 4 0-80 5F h’cap at Thirsk on good ground off a mark of 76 which does make him dangerous here. I had him a 10-1 chance so when Ladbrokes opened 22-1 I had to walk to my local bookie as I don’t have an online account with them(my own choice). Obviously Landing Night would upset me if he were to win as we’ve done him last few times but at teh prices and baring in mind the draws they are opposit sides I decided GW was the better value.

Analysis – A class 6 0-60 for lady amateur riders, we did this one last time out when GLee rode him. He was never put in the race that day and as a result he’s now off a 5lb lower mark than last time and a full 15lb in last 3 runs.The only negative for me is the ground as both career wins were on soft ground so todays good going isn’t ideal.His sole h’cap win came off a mark of 70 at Hamilton over this trip so there are plenty to like about him plus his rider A.McCain has been in the winners recently with 2/7 in last 14 days. I very nearly did 2 in this race as Bop It at 25-1 looked huge having wn off 80-81 in bigger h’caps and now runing off just 60 but as an 8yo the worry is has he regressed rather than well h’capped. A small saver might be the play.

Analysis – We did him last time out over 1m4 at Brighton where he ran ok for the most part without looking like winning. Today its 2miles which is the trip of one of his 2 career wins. The first a 1m4 claas 6 h’cap 1m4 off 59 on good/firm, the other a 2m class 6 on good/firm off 56. Today he has 2m class 5 off just 50 on good/firm so conditions should suit him better than brighton but the rise in class might be the slight worry. He has the visor he wore first time at Brighton retained as well here all makes 33-1 look too big.

Analysis – Already a winner at 33-1 over this CD once for us this season lets hope for a bit of deja vu. Its a competitive 16 runner class 2 6F h’cap where the selection runs off a a mark of 82 having won for us off 80. He made all the running that night and has also run a close 2nd of 13 again over CD on good ground since that was off 82 though he wouldn’t want the ground any quicker than good he would prefer a bit of cut so some rain would be nice. Again the price was too high to ignore I had him 16-1 in my market so 25-1 5 places is a bit of value at an ew price in a wide open race.
