Analysis – He was a NR for us a few weeks back when due to run over this trip.He has won 3 times over 1m-1m2 and on good/firm to good ground so we wouldn’t want to see any rain. He ran very well on AW at Kempton over 1m3 last time when staying on late to be 6th of 13 beaten just under 3L.The question mark here for me was the number of 3yo’s lurking around the bottom of the weights who have unknown improvement in them.

Analysis – Should have won 2 races ago for us here at Newton Abbot but for me his jockey over did the waiting tactics and he didn’t quicken like the jockey hoped he would. Last time he ran over 2m7 which is too far for him even though he’s a 2mile flat horse. Stepping back 1/2mile in trip should suit him so hopefully he’ll make amends here for that run 2 races back. As low as I’d go at 4-1 was hoping for slightly better.

Analysis – Done him a couple of times recently where to be honest he has been disappointing. His 2 AW runs have been below his turf level so he does need to bounce back but he is very well treated now on the best of his turf form.
