Analysis - This five-year old makes his handicap debut after some fairly encouraging runs in novice/maiden hurdles and should be the type to improve now in this sphere. He was a good second in a bumper at this course back in December of last year and made a good start on hurdling debut when third over the extended 2m3f at Chepstow when travelling well throughout until the approach to the final flight. The step up in trip is likely to suit based on that and breeding and a reappearance third at Worcester would have blown away the cobwebs, David Pipe’s yard are in good form of late and Tom Scudamore is back in the saddle. An open contest but I can see this gelding making the frame, especially if he can settle better.
