Analysis – Runner no.31from the 20 to follow list. This is a class 7 0-50 6f h’cap where he is running off just 48 less jockeys 3lb claim. He’s ridden by regular pilot Eoin Walsh who got a great tune out of him from a poor draw 3 runs back when staying on very strongly to be 3rd, that was over 5F behind an in form sprinter. He didn’t run so well next time when stepped up to 6f again at Wolverhampton behind the same winner. Last time when dropped to 5F he was a staying on 4th, which seems to complicate matters as 5F seems to short but 6F seems to far. In his 62 race career he’s run here at Kempton twice finishing 8th over 7F off 75 and 6th over 6F off 60 in Septembr 2017. Now 12lb lower and in lower grade he should be capable of a much better showing, stall 7 isn’t ideal but equally not a disaster.His forecast price is around 10-1 I make him a 6-1 chance so would happily take anything better than that, but equally will be looking to see what price Head Space is as he will pop up at a massive price one day soon.

Analysis – Done him a few times over the last 18 months including last time out when held up off the pace and running on for 4th over 1mile,today back to 7F so I feel they’ll need to ride him more prominent if they are to be involved with the finish.

Analysis – another we’ve been doing so can’t leave him out although 7-2 is a bit short for me so really hope he drifts a little to an ew price. I would wait around before posting but I’m going out now for next few hours so can’t monitor situation so have decided to just go with him.

Analysis – Has run well last twice for us getting placed both times still a maiden but this looks his for the taking. Much shorter price today than when 3rd 2 runs ago but no Spare Parts here to take on so should be involved at the finish.

Analysis – It’s low level stuff a class 5 0-100 3m1 h’cap chase where top weight carries a penalty for getting beat last time over 2m4 but awarded race is stewards room and he’s the 5-2/3-1 fav for the race and certainly not for me. The one I quite like is the oldest runner in the race at 11yo but he’s won 5 of his 40 career races with a further 10 placed runs plus a winning 3m PTP. His wins have come 2/13 over hurdles and 3/26 over fences, last time out he ran a very good 4th of 16 at Wetherby in a 3m h’cap hurdle on soft ground off 85 his chase mark is slightly lower so runs here off 77. His 3 winning chase runs have come off 91-101-105 2 on soft 1 on good/soft although none at this distance. His sole h’cap hurdle win however came over 3m at Wetherby off 76 exactly a year ago today Jan 24th ridden by todays jockey Henry Brooke.There is a lot to like about him he does like to lead and in the past has dropped away to come again late on bit like last time over hurdles, he looks a decent ew bet at 20-1.
