Analysis – This eight-year old mare’s switch to chasing has improved her form quite a bit having failed to score over hurdles. She was successful on chase debut from a mark of 109 and now races off a 21lb higher mark after winning twice since. She returned from a short break with a good fourth in a listed event at Huntingdon when still in with a chance two out before being outclassed by higher rated rivals. She needs to put a bad effort behind her at Newbury, though that came in a Grade 3 and now dropping back into class 3 company from the same mark as when going close three starts back, could see her bounce back to form with Paul O’Brien claiming a handy 3lb.

Analysis – A useful performer on the level with a rating of 96 and went close in the November-handicap at Doncaster which is good form. He was far too keen on hurdling debut when fourth but settled much quicker the last day over C&D when bolting up by 12-lengths on good ground and the drying conditions will be in his favour again for this very unexposed gelding. His opening mark looks manageable and he may just have too much flat speed for his opposition.
