Analysis – Travelled well into the race at Sandown last time out but was held in the end over a mile-and-a-quarter so the step up a few furlongs in trip looks likely to suit and the winner that day was just touched off in 2nd in the King George V Stakes last week at Ascot. This gelding won at this track on his penultimate start in novice company and he’s been given a decent chance by the handicapper after dropping him 4lb for that handicap debut run so is entitled to improvement on 2nd start in this sphere and now tackling a new trip so should go well dropping in grade.
