Todays Racing Tip – BOOKMAKER (NAP)
Time & Track – 2.25 LINGFIELD (MON)
Best Odds – 14-1

Analysis – A Class 7 0-50 7F h’cap where I’m doing Bookmaker again after his frustrating run just 9 days ago when his rider took an age to get the blinds on in the stalls saying they were tucked in too tight and it took 2 tugs to remove them. After that he ran well was soon back in touch and denied a clear run round the inside. Provided things go a little smoother here he should be involved but the obvious warning is stall 13, thats a tough stall to overcome as if you go forward you’re running wide the whole trip or if you miss the break and tuck in on the rail you need luck in running which at Lingfield doesn’t always happen. His last win was over CD off 52 at the end of Jan 2017 just defeating our runner Wink Oliver who went on to win several times. Now back down to this grade off this mark he’s good enough if things fall his way.

Todays Racing Tip – SUE BE IT
Time & Track – 3.00 PLUMPTON (MON)
Best Odds – 14-1

Analysis – A Class 4 0-105 mares only h’cap hurdle with the top weight Sue Be Me the one I like. She was a bit disappointing last time out when 5th off 107 at Hereford on soft ground but that was after a 6month break. The time before she was 2nd over todays trip of 2m4 that was back in July to our 22-1 winner Tsunduko at Uttoxeter. All her best runs have come on left handed tracks so hopefully she’s come on for that run 28 days ago and down in grade from 0-115 for her last 3 runs and 0-120 at Aintree. She does however come with a word of caution as she whipped round at the start 3 races ago at Uttoxeter and unseated her rider so hopefully the start goes ok.

Todays Racing Tip – HEAD SPACE
Time & Track – 4.35 LINGFIELD (MON)
Best Odds – 33-1 4 places SKYBET

Analysis – A class 7 0-50 6F h’cap where the one I’m having a go with is Head Space who is a bit of a head case. He has his own ideas about racing but is morethan capable if in a going day. For me Noble Deed is the big danger but only 7-1 at best so I thought HS at 33-1 looked better value especially drawn 2 of just 45 with a 7lb claimer riding. He is a strong traveller who should have won for us at Kempton a couple of seasons ago but got to the front 50yds and decided he’d done enough. He’s a 9 times winner with 10 2nds and 16 3rds from 112 runs. His last win was in Nov 2016 off 63 over CD when he led 110yds out going easy and only just got home and 12 months ago was 2nd over CD of 66 so anything like that would give him an ew chance.
