Analysis – Ran a shocker at York just 4 days ago in a very competitive race, his jockey wasn’t very hard on him from 2F out when he had no chance of winning.The stable clearly feel nothing was amiss turning him back out just 4 days later so hopefully he’ll show the form of his very close up 5th at Goodwood previously.

Analysis – Been running well in much better company and over hurdles, this is the easiest task he has had for sometime now back down to his last winning mark.

Analysis – One we’ve done before who ran badly last time but had previously run well on turf to show he does handle turf as oppose to all his best form on the AW. Not the most reliable horse but 16-1 was worth an ew punt.

Analysis – A 2 times career winner both here at Southwell once over 7F the other over 8. Those 2 wins off 57-61 so todays 61 in a class 6 0-60 h’cap gives him a leading chance here off top weight.

Analysis – I did him a few races ago when ridden by SDS he ran absolutely no race that day and coasted home last. I went against him last time out at bath over 5.5F where to my eye he ran a much better ran than his finishing position would suggest. Again its the price which makes me feel he’s worth doing as I’m not convinced the Southwell stamina sapping track will suit him over 7F but he has run here twice before over 5 & 6 and ran ok.

Analysis – A class 6 0-55 2mile h’cap with 14 runners. The one I really like has had 12 runs(1 hurdle, 2AW & 9 turf) without yet making the first 3 in any race. He has run over 2m on 3 occassions beaten 17L 4th of then 11L 8th of 12 and last time 6th of 8 beaten 11L. His last 2 runs were over slightly shorter trips of 1m3 and 1m6 plus in between he ran over hurdles. I’ve watched videos of all his previous runs and there has been plenty of promise in those runs to suggest he can and will improve. This is a very weak race that won’t take much winning and that last run at Nottingham was very encouraging as he travelled very strongly before getting outpaced 3 out. He ran on again at the end and has got an extra 2F to go here. Obviously he does come with a warning as 0/12 for even a place and 50-1 in a weak race but I feel he’s well worth taking a chance on here.
