His form in Class 5 h’caps reads 3-1-1 those 2 wins came off 75 and 81 so todays mark of just 71 loks very good indeed.He’s also won a class 3 h’cap off 88 and that was his last win in November 2015. The good ground might be the only negative as his 4 wins have been on good/soft to heavy.In June last year he did run 1L 3rd of 10 off 89 over 1m2 at York so conditions should be fine for him.

Other winning marks have been 77-78-62-67-70-73 now off 70 on good ground so conditions give him a leading chance. He faded last time out over 10F at Windsor so this drop make to 8F should be ideal.

Analysis – Was very unlucky 2 races ago when hampered just as he was coming to win the race. Last time out in an amateur riders race he ran a bit to free so didn’t see out the trip too wll now down a 1lb and a smaller field he should have every chance of making up for that unlucky run.

Analysis – 9 days ago I said Short Work couldn’t lose he didn’t he made all for a decent win that day but as a result of that win he now meets todays selection Market Choices on 16lb worse terms for just over 1L between them when 3rd and 5th over CD. That day MC was better fancied in the market today Short Work is 2pts shorter. He has 2 career wins from 17 races including one over CD. His other win at Thirsk was off 72 today he’s 5lb below that mark. Stall 1 is a slight concern but with Ebor winning jockey Callum Rodriguez taking the ride claiming his 5lb I have every confidence he’ll know how to ride him as he has won being held up off the pace but also making all the running.
