Todays Racing Tip – JOHN BISCUIT
Time & Track – 3.15 HEREFORD (WEDNESDAY)
Best Odds – 20-1

Analysis – A class 4 0-105 h’cap hurdle over 2m3f 147yds with 15 runners and 10 hurdles. The hurdle course is currently good/firm which if it stays that way will be ok for the 9yo selection who had finished placed on the flat on firm and all 3 wins have come on good ground. His trainer is 1-1 last 14 days and jockey H.Cobden is 11-38 last 14 days. His only win over hurdles came over this trip at Plumpton off a mark of 79 with HC riding today same trip same mark same jockey same ground(near enough) he won that race at 9-1, all adds up to 20-1 looking over priced.

Todays Racing Tip – TEA TIME FRED
Time & Track – 2.10 HEREFORD (WEDNESDAY)
Best Odds – 16-1

Analysis – A 3m1f 44yd class 4 0-110 h’cap chase on good ground with 19 fences to jump. The selection is coming off 2 very poor rounds of jumping at Chepstow where he unseated Lucy Gardner and at Exeter in the race we had the 25-1 winner Sonofa King. He pulled up that day after losing ground 4 out this better ground will suit him so hopefully it won’t turn soft as he does prefer a faster surface. He’s won 2 hurdles races of 103 on soft and 107 on good/firm but has yet to complete in a chase race in 4 attempts and 2 PTP.This time Sean Houlihan rides taking 7lb off as he did at Exeter but on this less stiff track and better ground smaller field he should be more competitive.

Todays Racing Tip – GLINGERSIDE
Time & Track – 2.30 WETHERBY (WEDNESDAY)
Best Odds – 25-1

Analysis – A 2m3f 154yd Class 4 0-120 h’cap hurdle on soft ground with 14 runners. I went through the race looking for some outsider with an ew chance on his/her best form and came out with 2 U Name It and Glingerside wasn’t until after looking through form and coming up with these 2 that I realised thye have the same trainer R.Mike Smith. My record with trainers who have 2 in the race is brilliant I think 100% of the time the trainer wins the race, with the other one, like Roxyfet today amongst a long list. So may be a saver on U Name It at 25-1 might be a smart move. He won a Novice hurdle at Ayr beatin Fattsota on heavy ground getting a h’cap mark of 120. He went on to be a head 2nd over todays trip again at Ayr beofre finding 3m too far. Now off 113 with Aidan Coleman riding the 6yo has had 2 runs to get to peak fitness both over fences which didn’t appear to suit him so dropping back to hurdles today off this lower mark with a top jockey on could spark a revival in his form.
