Analysis – Two handicap wins to date, the first of those coming in this grade before winning her second a month later at a higher level from only a pound lower mark. Both of those wins came on a firmer surface so the forecast ground will suit and she arrives off the back of a solid third at Sandown a fortnight ago off a pound higher mark. This filly has ran well throughout this campaign without getting her head in front and as a result her mark has slowly been sliding towards one in which she can exploit, which very well may be now with her trainer doing well with runners at this track and Danny Tudhope is a good jockey booking.

Analysis – This five-year old has gone mightily close the last twice on a softer surface, the most recent run coming at Goodwood on Wednesday and the fact they’ve turned him out again so quickly would suggest connections feel he’s got another big run in him especially with the better ground here more to his liking. He takes a drop down to a class in which he was last successful from a pound lower mark and Seamus Cronin takes off a further 7lb with his claim. If he’s in the same mood as the last twice then he’s bound to go close off this mark.
