Analysis – Todays nap has won 4 times 3 hurdles and 1 chase all 4 wins came on the bounce back in a 12day spell in October 2015 from marks of 84-103. Today he runs off 100. Three of those 4 wins came on good ground which he gets today. Trainer Johnny Farrelly has the fav in the 2.20 race where we have Monday Club. This is a class 5 0-100 over 2m4 which is significant as he ran over 3m last time out in class 5 but clearly didn’t stay the trip ALL his other runs since that 4 timer have been in class 4 races. Two runs back at Wincanton he again found the trip too far over 2m6 so over 2f shorter here on a flatter track should help, if he can return to the form of his Newton Abbot 3rd in September then 50-1 is just simply huge!!

Analysis – Two recent runs on the flat should put him spot on for this his first hurdles run for 310 days.He’s only had 4 NH runs inc 11L 3rd to Dinos Velvet and 38L 5th in Grade 1 race behind Defin Du Seuill which all makes his mark of 108 look very lenient. Interesting to see how he gets on here in a weakish looking 0-115 where the fav is on a 4 times but now 26lb higher than his first win.

Analysis – Class 5 0-100 2m5 h’cap hurdle on good ground, where the one I like is one I noted in running last time out at Huntingdon. The winner of that race the veteran Occassionally Yours has won again since at Fakenham off 7lb higher mark. Onehelluvatouch moved very well through the race and came to challenge turning for home he eventually dropped out between the last 2 but has been dropped 3lb for that run. He’s won one on the flat on good/firm over 1m2 off 50 so 89 should be winnable and his worst run over jumps was on good/soft so hopefully ground stays good.

Analysis – A class 6 0-60 7f apprentice h’cap. There are several here that would be interesting at the prices now available as Vecheka who we’ve done before was only 9-1 last night now 20-1 I’m not 100% convinced this is his trip I prefer him in sprints thats why I’ve looked elsewhere here. The short priced fav is yet to win in 15 runs and yet to run here at Newcastle and all previous runs on a straight 7F are his worse runs, he has dropped 20lb in h’cap and changed stables recently but 6/5 REALLY!! The one I do like is the bottom weight she’s a 3yo who is a CD winner winning her maiden as a 2yo. Her trainer A.Whillains has had 1/8 in last 14 days and Rowan Scott is a decent apprentice.She ran 2 good 3rds in October and last time came up against an improver in Breathoffreshair and was only 7-1 to win that race. She has first time visor on here and a better draw in stall 2, last time she was in 10 when first 2 home were 1 & 2. I have left the AW alone for the last few days which has ultimately saved me a fortune but I’m prepared to play this one at the price.
