Analysis – He won for us here over CD back in January this year and was his trainers last runner. That retirement was very short lived only a matter of weeks and she soon backed up that win with 2 more from this 4yo gelding off 63-69 both at Lingfield.From there he went up to 73 and switched to turf where he’s only won once. His last 4 runs have been on a mixture of trips goings and 4 different tracks. Now back on his favourite surface back down to a winning mark and a good draw to track the pace from or force it if he prefers. Our last time out winner Newstead Abbey is still very well treated and now he’s won again could go on a winning run but stall 12 is a difficult draw when there is pace on his inner.

Analysis – He won for us here recently when ridden by the trainers daughter. He won well that day off 60 today off 65 but with a furlong less to cover, but he is a previous CD winner from back in November 2014. In fact all 3 of his AW wins have been here at Wolverhampton, now ridden by D.Nolan he could well record course win number 4.

Analysis – His last 3 runs read P-P-P but all 3 were in chases prior to that had been running consistantly over hurdles including a win at Wetherby over 2m5 on soft ground off 95. Today he has 2m5 off 99 on good ground which he has plenty of placed form on. He did go up to 107 after that success and was on 105 when going chasing so this mark of 99 with first time visor on makes him very intersting here in what is a weak race.

Analysis – The worry with Bob is that he is 0/33 so far, he would have won at Wetherby back in May 2016 but for a last hurdle fall something he has done a few times. That day he was off 91 today just 75 having run well here over CD on a number of occassions. It may be that he will need things to drop his way to get his head in front but even his last couple of runs have been full of promise.
