Nicky Henderson has a short-priced favourite in here but that horse hasn’t run for two-years and is making his hudling debut and I think that Kim Bailey’s five-year old may get the better of him with a recent run under his belt. This will be his third career start, he was third in a Thurles bumper when trained in Ireland and made a very encouraging hurdling debut at the end of last month when beaten three-quarters-of-a-length by an improver who had hammered a subsequent two-time winner the time before. The stable are in good form and David Bass is booked for this as opposed to travelling up to Carlisle where the yard has another fancied runner. Hopefully the first-time tongue-tie can eke out more improvement, he should really be going very close here.
