Todays Racing Tip – BOOM THE GROOM
Time & Track – 4.45 GLORIOUS GOODWOOD (TUES)
Best Odds – 9-1
Analysis – We were on him for this race last year at 16-1 he won it as a well backed 13-2 chance under today rider Adam Kirby. He ran well at Epsom in the Dash but wasn’t so good last time in the Wokingham over 6F. He won this last year off 98 so has 4lb more to carry this year and didn’t have a run inbetween like he did last year. The good/soft ground might be a slight concern as his previous turf wins have been on good and good/firm his other 4 wins have been on AW. He was however a close 4th in 2015 in this race of 101 on good/soft.

Todays Racing Tip – DARK RED
Time & Track – 1.50 GLORIOUS GOODWOOD (TUES)
Best Odds – 20-1 PP 5 places
Analysis – Ran very well for us on Saturday when 3rd at Newmarket over 10F having had a bad run in the John Smiths at York previously. On Saturday he travelled very well and looked in command from the 3F marker only to be run out of it at the line by Josephine Gordon on Anythingtoday. The good/soft ground is ideal so is the 10f trip and Oisin Murphy takes over so provided Saturdays exerssions haven’t took too much out of him he should again run his race.

Todays Racing Tip – THE FIRM
Time & Track – 4.00 YARMOUTH (TUES)
Best Odds – 25-1
Analysis – One we’ve done a few times of late without any reward, he did however run a great race last time out at Newmarket at 50-1 when still holding a distant 2nd until the last 100yds. He is a 5 times winner all on the AW, he’s currently 0/17 on turf but has had 2 2nds and 5 3rds nearly all those placed efforts were on todays forecast going of good. His 5 AW h’cap wins have come off 65-65-57-58-62 so todays mark of 56 down from 60 last time out gives him a very realistic chance of a big run at decent odds especially with Gina Mangan taking a further 7lb off his back.
Result – Non Runner
Todays Racing Tip – BLACKFIRE
Time & Track – 6.10 WORCESTER (TUES)
Best Odds – 20-1
Analysis – Ran really well for us last time out at Stratford over 2m3 on only his 2nd attempt at fences. He travelled and jumped well that day and looked a cert to be in the first 3 for most of the race. In the end he faded to be 4th so this reverting back to 2m could well be a good move as his best run over hurdles was in a 2m h’cap off 86 when beaten only 5L in a class 4. This is a class 5 0-100 off 79 so again I’m expecting an aggressive ride from the front and some bold jumping.
