Analysis – Has yet to get his head in front in six outings, three of which have been in nursery’s. The latest effort at Newmarket from this lower mark was better and there’s a possibility that this step up in trip could be enough to provide this filly a first career success having travelled well into the race the last day. The quicker ground looks likely to be what she needs and the booking of Oisin Murphy catches the eye.

Analysis – This gelding enjoyed a successful campaign last year which accumulated in five wins (all over this mile trip) and as a result saw him climb 25lbs in the ratings. The last of those victories came from a mark of 78 which is now 2lb higher than what he’s running off here and he went down by a head from this current mark back in June of this year. He’s won on a variety of ground so there shouldn’t be any issues there and this is his ideal trip having only won at a mile, handicapped to go well and is worth taking the short-priced favourite on as that rival is a ten-race maiden.
