Analysis – Didn’t achieve a win over timber but has taken to chasing really well, winning on first two starts before staying on for 2nd from this new mark of 120 the last day at Leicester. Those all came over over the minimum trip and the step up a couple of furlongs shouldn’t be a problem based on the way he shaped last time and he should run a nice race.

Analysis – Opened his account over fences with a hard-fought victory at Sandown over a year ago and returned from a 322-day absence with his second chase success in a 0-140 at Hereford. He’s since ran two good races in a higher grade when placing both times and the form of those have worked out well, he’s been dropped a pound for his recent third which puts him on a mark only 2lb higher than for his last win and the drop back into a 0-130 should be beneficial. Wouldn’t want the ground too testing on first go at this longer trip and if seeing it out he should go close.
