Analysis – Has already won twice over fences which included success over this 3m2f trip at Newton Abbot in July on good ground by seven-lengths. He returned from a short break with a close second at Cheltenham back in October in a class 3 and soft ground the last day at Sandown wouldn’t have suited. He’s got his preferred going here and this six-year old is still open to further progression just 3lb above his half-length defeat at Prestbury Park. Trainer is in red hot form (4/9 past fortnight) and Nick Scholfield is a good jockey booking so the bottom-weight could well be the answer here.
