Analysis – The form of his debut second looks strong with the winner coming out and winning since, as well as placing in a Group 2 recently and he followed that up when first-past-the-post only to be demoted to second place for interference. The horse that was awarded the race has come out and won since and Ricard Hannon’s colt made it three second placed efforts when beaten by stablemate at Glorious Goodwood. He has the assistance of Ryan Moore for the first time today and that could well be enough to see him gain a first victory.

Analysis – Has only the one victory so far this year (dead-heated with an improver) but has run with credit in defeat on his last three outings. He was beaten just under three-lengths in a 0-85 the last day at York and he’s now dropped back into 0-75. He’s mostly been running over six-furlongs though that recent effort was over the extended five-furlongs and he’s now dropped again trip to the minimum (won on second start over C&D in a novice last year). The slightly easier ground shouldn’t be a problem either.
