Todays Racing Tip – MIXBOY
Time & Track – 3.30 Wetherby (19/02)
Best Odds – 7/1 @ Bet365
Stake – 1pt win
Analysis – This nine-year old is very versatile having continually alternated between chase/hurdles/flat over the past few seasons and arrives here on the back of a fair effort on the level. His penultimate outing saw him weaken in the latter stages over 2m4f at Musselburgh and the drop back to 2m is the right move with his form figures at this trip over fences read very well (1-1-F-1-2) with the gest of those runs coming on the forecasted good ground. It’s a competitive looking handicap and there’s a few in there that I think hold solid claims but it’s Keith Dalgleish’s gelding who gets the nod from me.

Todays Racing Tip – QUIZ MASTER
Time & Track – 3.45 Taunton (19/02)
Best Odds – 6/1 @ Bet365
Stake – 1pt win
Analysis – Took awhile to gain first success which came over hurdles at Fontwell a year ago and despite not winning since this seven-year old has been consistent in the same sphere, placing on next five outings. He now makes his chasing debut from a pound lower mark than when a good 2nd in a higher grade on penultimate start and if taking to the larger obstacles should play a major role.

Todays Racing Tip – ANEMOI
Time & Track – 4.15 Taunton (19/02)
Best Odds – 11/2 @ Bet365
Stake – 1pt win
Analysis – Beat four subsequent winners on hurdling debut at Ascot, including Grade 2 winner Nadaitak (142) & 138-rated Pym and wasn’t completely disgraced in a listed event at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day when tried over 2m4f. The drop back to the minimum for handicap debut should suit and although it looks a deep race this five-year old is very unexposed and holds a couple of novice entries at the festival. Daryl Jacob takes over in the saddle and boasts a 50% strike-rate when riding for Harry Whittington (3/6).

Todays Racing Tip – MINELLA FOR ME
Time & Track – 4.35 Wetherby (19/02)
Best Odds – 5/1 @ Betfair
Stake – 1pt win
Analysis – Won on first start after a wind op back in May last year and after a third on first start this season he shaped as though the step up in trip would suit when 2nd at short odds the last day at Doncaster. He won his sole point-to-point so this 3m will suit and I think this long straight is a plus as he looks a galloper as shown last time and also when beaten less than a length at Leicester last year, again when staying on over shorter.
