He’d previously ran three fine races in defeat (chase) before scoring over 3m2f at Stratford (hurdles) and though up 5lb for that the eight-year old is now accompanied by useful 7lb claimer Rex Dingle. He’ll handle the quicker conditions better than anyone and already has a C&D win under his belt.

Analysis – Has raced mostly over 2m in her career so far and has won twice over 2m1f in this grade, one of which was by 13-lengths. She won a class 2 on heavy ground at Ayr just over a year ago and has ran respectably since despite not winning and the handicapper has now dropped her back to that last winning mark. Her best effort to date came at Kelso in May on the forecasted good ground when 2nd behind a subsequent winner and this mare returned from a break at the start of the month with a staying on fourth at Ayr. This six-year old has shaped as though she’d get this 2m4f trip and the drop down into a class 4 back on a winning mark gives her a great chance.
