Analysis – This seven-year old arrives in good form having won two of his last four outings (placed third in between) with the most recent coming from a horrible draw at Chester. He’s up only 4lb and is dropped in grade, Sean Davis can claim 3lb of that and this gelding will be trying to replicate last year’s success in this race from a 4lb lower mark. His record here reads very well (1-1-1-3-1-1-4) on a mixture of going and from a nice draw must hold every chance. I tipped Lucky Violet yesterday when a N/R and although she again holds an each-way chance at a course she likes, this is a deeper race and is vulnerable for win purposes.
